Cake Rusk
Ingredients:
Butter 4 oz
Caste Sugar 4 oz
Eggs 3
Plain Flour 4 oz
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Lemon Essence 1/2 tsp
Yellow Color 1/4 tsp
Method:
Beat butter and sugar very well till light creamy add in eggs one at a tine beating well after each addition add in essence and color. Fold in sieve flour and baking powder, pour in a grease and paper line square tin 8x8 inch bake on 180 D for 30 mins, remove cool cake cut into slices, again put to bake on 100 D for 45 mins, 20 mins on each side

Cauliflower soup
Ingredients
1 cauliflower, broken into florets
1 carrot, shredded
¼ cup chopped onion
2-1/2 cups water
2 chicken stock cubes
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
¾ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon hot sauce
method
In a large pan, combine the cauliflower, carrot, onion, water and chicken stock cube. Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat; Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until vegetables are tender (do not drain). In another large saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Whisk the milk in slowly. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened. Stir in the cheese until melted. Add hot sauce. Stir into the cauliflower mixture until combined. Puree half the soup in the blender and pour back into the soup.

4. Add garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.

7. Cover with lid for 5-6 minutes.

Spinach Soup
Ingredients
Spinach, chopped 3 cups
Spinach leaves 15 – 20
Onions, chopped 2 medium
Oil 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
Black peppercorns 7 – 8
Garlic, chopped 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns ½ tsp
Vegetable stock 1 ½ cups
Milk 1 ½ cups
Mascarpone or cream cheese 4 tbsp
Method
Heat oil, add bay leaf, black peppercorns, onions and garlic and sauté.
Add spinach, salt, crushed black peppercorns and sauté till onion and spinach become soft.
Cool and grind with vegetable stock till smooth. Pour it back into the pan. Keep the remaining spinach leaves one on top of the other and shred finely.
Heat oil in another pan. Add shredded spinach and deep fry till crisp.
Drain. Add milk to the soup and mix well. For each portion shape 1 tbsp mascarpone cheese into a quennel using two tablespoons.
Pour soup into serving bowls, place the cheese quennel in the centre, place the fried spinach over the cheese and serve hot.

How to make tomato ketchup
Prep time 2.5 minutes
Cook time 15mins
Serves 2-3 jam bottles
Ingredients:red ripe tomatoes 1250g
Onion half(middle size onion)
Ginger 1inch piece
Garlic 2cloves
Black pepper 3
White cumin 1/2 tsp
Cloves 2
Black cardamon 1
Brown vinegar 1/2cup or white vinegar 1/2cup
Sugar 125g
Salt 1/2tsp
Chilipowder 1/2tsp
Method:
Cut tomatoes into four slices and cook in pan for 5 minutes and place a lid over pan.
Take a small Muslin or mulmul cloth piece and tie ginger,garlic,onion,black pepper,cloves,black cardamon,
White cumin and cinnamon in it.place this filled cloth or spice bag in tomatoes and let it cook till it becomes little watery.
Let it cool then blend it in a blender.
Take a muslin(or malmal cloth) or strainer and strain through it.
Add red chilli powder,sugar,salt and vinegar in tomato mixture and let it cook till it becomes little thick.
Preserve it in sterilized bottles.

Add red chilli powder,sugar,salt and vinegar in tomato mixture and let it cook till it becomes little thick.
Preserve it in sterilized bottles.

Mooli ke parathe(how to make radish meal)
Ingredients
Flour 1/2kg
Radishes 2
Green chilies(chopped) 4
Mint(chopped)1/2 bunch
Butter 1/2cup
Pomegranate seeds 1tbsp
Flour as required
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix 2 grated turnips n 1tbsp ground pomegranate seeds,1/2tbsp red chili flakes,salt to taste,1/2bunch sliced mint and 4 sliced green chilies and put aside for some time.mix together 1/2kg flour with dalt and water and knead into fine dough.roll a portion of the dough in shape of meal(paratha) and spread turnip/radish mix on top of it.cover it with another paratha(meal) and stick the corners with helf of butter.fry meal(paratha) with butter and serve.
